Tree Planting 2019

Trees New York is helping RiSC students take action to create more climate resilient schools and communities by planting trees on their school grounds to mitigate extreme heat. Trees provide oxygen and shade, cool our neighborhoods, filter air pollution, provide important habitat for wildlife, and vital green infrastructure and beauty in city neighborhoods.
